Whether you are copying from a master course or a previous term, the process for connecting your Moodle course to your Soomo webtext is the same. Simply copy your course content, and the webtext links will come with it.
Note: The webtext will automatically link if you are using the same webtext title as the course you are copying from. If you are not using the same webtext title this term, you will need to delete the copied links and use the standard linking instructions for the new course shell.
Copy the course content
1. In the new Moodle course you want to copy content into, navigate to the course homepage.
2. From the Course navigation menu, go to More > Course reuse.
3. Choose Import from the options on the left.
4. In the Find a course section, search for and select the course you want to import data from, then click Continue.
5. On the Initial settings page, you can choose which components to import. By default, everything is selected (except for “Includes permission overrides”).
We recommend keeping the default settings to ensure all webtext links and associated gradebook items are included, unless you specifically need to include permission overrides.
Click Next and review the selected items.
6. Finally, click Perform import to begin the copy process.
Once the import is complete, your webtext links will appear in the Moodle course. You can click on any webtext link to confirm the connection and manage the due dates in the webtext.
