Whether you are copying from a master course or a previous term, the process for connecting your Brightspace course to your Soomo webtext is the same. Simply copy your course content, and the webtext links will come with it.

Note: The webtext will automatically link if you are using the same webtext title as the course you are copying from. If you are not using the same webtext title this term, you will need to delete the copied links and use the standard linking instructions for the new course shell.

Copy the course content

1. In the new course that you want to copy content into, go to Edit Course in the navigation bar.

2. Select the Import/Export/Copy Components link.

3. Choose Copy Components from another Org Unit, then click Search for Offering.

4. In the pop-up window, search for the course you want to copy from. Select the course and click Add Selected.

5. On the next screen, click Copy All Components. The copy process will begin and run in the background.

Once the import is complete, your webtext links will appear in the Brightspace course. You can click on any webtext link to confirm the connection and manage the due dates in the webtext.
