I’m an existing user. How do I set up a new webtext?

Step-by-step instructions to set up your next Soomo webtext

To start setting up a new webtext, open the Tools Menu in your current webtext. In the Course Webtexts section, select Explore Webtext Titles.

Configure the webtext for your course

You’ll be asked to provide some basic information about your course. If you don’t have all the details yet, like grading information or due dates, just leave a note for our Instructor Support team in the Additional Information field. You can also return later to finish setting up your webtext.

Once you’re happy with the information you’ve added, click Review Webtext Settings.

Confirm your webtext settings

Review your settings one last time, then click Confirm and Send to share your information with Soomo’s webtext specialists.

Check your email

Once your webtext settings are confirmed, you will get an email from our Instructor Support team. Use the Explore Webtext Titles link in the email to review your new webtext. You can also find it in the Course Webtexts section of the Tools Menu in your webtext.

Tip: Make sure Soomo is in your email contacts so emails from us don’t go to your Spam folder!
