How do I deploy the Soomo app in Blackboard?

Where do I learn more about the Soomo/LMS integration?

To get started deploying the Soomo app in Blackboard, follow the steps below. If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact our LMS specialist at

Register the Soomo Learning Tool provider

  • Log in to Blackboard as an admin. Access the System Admin panel using the tab in the top right of the screen.

  • Select LTI Tool Providers under the Integrations tab.

  • Select Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.

  • Enter Client ID 096042de-5ff8-4d98-aa94-990685f1b37a and click Submit.

  • On the new page that opens, copy the Deployment ID and share with

  • Set the Tool Status to Approved.

  • Under Institution Properties, check the following items:

    • User Fields to Send

      • Role in Course - [Checked]

      • Name - [Checked]

      • Email Address - [Checked]

    • Allow Grade Service Access - Yes

    • Allow Membership Service Access - Yes

  • Click Submit.

Once this is complete, the integration is ready for the instructor to use in their Blackboard course.
