Where do I learn more about the Soomo/LMS integration? |
To get started deploying Soomo’s Canvas app, follow the steps below. If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact our LMS specialist at lms@soomolearning.com.
1. Install the Soomo Learning Webtext Tool LTI 1.3 app on your Canvas environment
Navigate to the Apps page in the Admin menu and click the Discover tab at the top.
Use the search bar to find the Soomo Learning app. Select it, then click Configure in the upper-right corner.
In the pop-up that appears, review the app configuration then click Install App.
2. Add the new app configuration
Within the root or subaccount in which you’d like to install the integration tool,
select Settings in the left sidebar. From there, click the Apps tab, then click View App Configurations.
Then add an app by clicking the Add App button and selecting By Client ID in the Configuration Type drop-down menu.
Add the Client ID 170000000000770 and click Submit. Then click Install.
3. Share the deployment ID with Soomo
After creating the app, click the gear icon and the Deployment ID button. Copy the Deployment ID shown in the pop-up window and share it with lms@soomolearning.com.
Once this is complete, the app is ready for the instructor to use in their Canvas course.
