To get started importing your Soomo test bank into Canvas, follow the steps below. If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact our Instructor Support team at instructorsupport@soomolearning.com.
1. Find your Canvas course import page
First, log in to your Canvas account and navigate to the course you’d like to import the test bank into. Then click the Settings button in the left-hand menu in the Canvas course. Next, select Import Course Content in the upper right.
2. Import your test bank
Now that you’ve navigated to the import page, select “QTI .zip file” in the content type drop-down menu. Next, click the Browse button and select the zip file of the test bank you were provided by Soomo. You can then choose to select a question bank to import the questions to or create a new one.
Finally, click the Import button to import the test bank. Canvas will let you know as soon as that’s complete.
That’s it! You can now use those questions to create quizzes in your Canvas course.
