Where and when students receive notifications

Students receive notifications whenever you provide feedback on their work in the webtext, share notes with them, or make changes to due dates. These notifications will appear in the webtext’s Notifications panel and be sent via email.

When students have a new notification, they’ll see a red dot in the Notifications panel in the upper right corner of their webtext. They can click “Notifications” to expand the panel.

Clicking a notification about feedback or a shared note takes students to the page and place where you left the feedback or note. Feedback can include commenting on their responses, unposting or resetting work, and pinning response-board answers.

For all notifications, students will receive an email that includes a link to the webtext so they can check the Notifications panel.
