When you’re ready to create your course, click the Create a New Course button in the upper right corner of the webtext. (To get access to a Soomo webtext to review, check out this Help Center article with step-by-step instructions.)

Configure the webtext for your course

The form will prompt you for some basic information about your course. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information right now. You can still start setting up your course and come back later to finish.

For information on integrating the webtext with your school’s LMS, contact our Support team. For more information on due dates, check out our Help Center article, How do I add or change my webtext’s due dates for all students?

Get Your Course Student-Ready page with prompts to fill out information about your course

Pro Tip: Leave a note in the Additional Information field for the Instructor Support team if you’d like to go ahead and send your course information and have our team make updates later when you have the necessary information (e.g., grading information, due dates, etc.).

Get Your Course Student-Ready page with Additional Information section

Once you’re happy with the course information you’ve added, click Review Course Summary.

Confirm your course information

You will have one more opportunity to review the course information you’ve provided, and then you can click Confirm and Send.

Check your email

Once the course is ready, you will get an email from our Instructor Support team. Use the course link in the email to review your new course or find it in the Courses section of the Tools Menu in your webtext.
