The Activity History feature in Analytics shows you a timeline of work a student has completed for the questions in their webtext.
Open-ended questions
Viewing the Activity History for open-ended questions gives you a streamlined way to see how your feedback impacts student work and provides valuable insight on their writing processes.
To view the Activity History for response boards, short-answer questions, and writing templates in Analytics, click Activity History beneath the question to expand its Activity History. (Tip: here’s how you can use a filter to view only pages that contain writing templates.)
You will see the different versions of the work the student has posted so far, with the most recent activity at the top.
If you’ve left a comment on their work, you can see how the student used your feedback to revise their responses.
Multiple-choice questions
Reviewing students’ attempts can help you identify those who may need extra support. If a student is making multiple attempts on a question or consistently choosing incorrect answers, it may signal a need for one-on-one assistance or additional resources.
For multiple-choice questions, the Activity History feature will show you each attempt a student made at a particular question. To review their attempts, click Activity History beneath the question.
As with open-ended questions, you’ll see a timeline of the student’s responses, including the answers they chose and whether they were correct or incorrect.
